Project Elements: Lighting
Freedom underwent a huge renovation in 2024 and Showtec were enlisted to give the lighting system a big refresh and new look. The lighting needed to fulfil the needs of a multi-use venue which offers cabaret, stage performances, dj’s and more.
In the centre of the room, two dance poduims were fitted with narrow beam spotlights, each individually controllable. The ceiling sections were filled with 36 mirrorballs of different sizes, all on rotating motors. A selection of Chauvet scanners and parcans topped up the rig with profile spotlights for illuminating hte stage areas. All the lighting was controlled from ECue Lighting Application Suite.
In the VIP seating areas, three fibre optic ceiling systems were installed to give the feeling of luxury, all with RGB LED light sources and DMX control.
